The Speakers
Ginny Cheng
Ginny has 18 years of experience working in the US, Europe, and Asia markets, first as a hiring manager for business roles including PR communications, product marketing, and business development.
She then devoted herself to the recruitment and people development space the last 10 years with Microsoft and Facebook and most recently returned from a three-year assignment growing Facebook’s international engineering sites in London, Dublin, and Tel Aviv. She is now the recruiting lead at Zillow Group. Her related interests include career mentoring with Career Contessa, a career site designed by women for women, promoting Asian American leadership development as a Board Advisor for NAAAP and is passionate about creating beneficial connections for her network.
In her spare time, she’s an avid traveler (37 countries and counting), foodie and design enthusiast and enjoys hanging out with her family in the Bay Area where she calls home.
Angelina Barretto
Angelina joined Facebook as a Diversity Business Partner supporting the Tech organization in May of 2016. Diversity is central to Facebook’s mission of bringing the world closer together and in her role, she collaborates with the recruiting organization, business partners, leaders and various other key communities to build and deliver strategies aimed at finding, keeping and growing diverse and underrepresented talent at Facebook.
Prior to joining Facebook, Angelina passionately contributed to launching the careers of hundreds of diverse university students around the country through programs focused on attracting, developing and retaining amazing talent. With over 10 years of University Relations and Talent Acquisition experience for Fortune 500 tech companies, she thrived in connecting diverse students to their dream jobs in the tech industry.
Angelina is a Bay Area native, born and raised in San Jose, Ca. She first became interested in the tech industry through entrepreneurship and computer-aided design classes in high school. From there, she attended San Jose State University where she majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She remains centered through her family and is the mother of an extremely energetic 8-year old girl.
Kim Wilson
Kim is the Head of Talent with Coffee Meets Bagel, and loves being the Brand Ambassador for the Dating App that is all about Finding Authentic Love. She has 25 years of working here in the bay area with jobs in Medical/Nursing, Business Dev and as a Technical Recruiter.
Kim had the privilege to have had parents that were entrepreneurs that raised her with a strong work ethic and she is the Mom of 3 wonderful kids and enjoys Hiking, Traveling and Mentoring Women of all ages.

With 23 years of human resources and talent acquisition leadership experience, Jason Buss is a recognized expert with deep experience in identifying, recruiting and hiring high-performing teams. He is currently the vice president of talent acquisition for MongoDB.
